We will endeavor to find you regular work that is appropriate to your experience, skill and grade in your chosen field. You will be paid for the actual hours worked at the rate agreed with you and for that Client.

How much notice will I receive prior to the shifts?

OnCliniCall will endeavour to give you at much notice as possible but because we supply temporary staff many clients will request cover at very short notice. To minimise the impact of such short notice we will ask you to supply us details of your availability for each week. 

How long will each placement be?

Each time we offer you a placement we will give you the start and finish times, sometimes we will also give you a client reference number. If we do you must enter this number onto your timesheet. For temporary contract placements we will give you the date of the end of the contract and if there are any changes we will notify you immediately.  

What happens when I am deemed fully compliant for work?

Once we have completed the registration process and ascertained that you are fully compliant to work we will add your details to our availability sheet. When clients request shifts we will then contact you with details of the shifts that match your skill, experience and qualification. We will contact you by telephone and give you details of the job, hours of work, company location and approximate length of shift/contract. If you agree to do the work, we expect a commitment from you at that point. If you are unable to carry out the work for any reason, please tell us immediately; we will call you again for future placements 

What do OnCliniCall expect from me?

OnCliniCall’s induction outlines our framework of values and we will expect everyone to act in accordance with those values and deliver services in line with our Care Promise to Service Users and Clients. 

On registering with us, we will explain in detail how we operate and what will be expected of you following registration, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to raise them. If you are not enjoying a placement, please contact us so that we can find a replacement and alternative work for you. 

If you change your availability, please give us as much notice as possible.

Am I entitled to the same pay as Permanent Staff including overtime?

You are working through OnCliniCall and are contracted out to the Client you may therefore be paid more or less per hour than permanent members of staff for the first 12 weeks of employment. After 12 weeks you are entitled to the same basic pay and conditions as that of a directly hired comparable member of staff under the Agency Workers Regulations.

How will I be paid?

You will be paid weekly in arrears on a Friday by close of business directly into your bank account via online transfer. When we receive your completed timesheets, we process those timesheets and pay you for the hours worked. 

What Holiday Pay am I entitled to?

For PAYE workers what you are paid when you take holiday will be dependent on your average earnings over the previous paid 12 weeks of work and therefore will fluctuate based on the placements that you have carried out during that time.
